Sacred Spaces
There are many sacred spaces deserving of recognition. Even though I find myself moved or enlightened by them, that feeling is dependent on what is happening in my heart and soul at the moment. Wherever I happen to be, a place of worship, an exquisite place in nature, or a heightened awareness, I have to be able to use my heart and soul to achieve a feeling worthy of the moment.
As human beings we are all affected by our past experiences. Hopefully we use them to help us progress and flourish. As I look at past phases in my life, I feel each one has added another layer to the person emerging.
Whether I am in search of something greater than myself, or simply trying to find peace, my sacred space ultimately comes from within.
